Work material vibration occurred
  1. Adjust the way of holding the work material and make it hold firmly.
  2. Select the cutting tool with larger helix angle to avoide vibration by lower the force of radial cutting.
  3. Adjust cutting data with lower RPM or Feed to reduce the resonance vibration.
  4. If the work material is thin, selecting with smaller helix angle tools would help to change the force direction and reduce the axial force on the work material.
Cutting tools broken or twisted
  1. Selecting cutting tools with larger diameter as its rigidity would be better.
  2. By reducing the cutting amount to lower cutting force while machining.
  3. Lowering Feed of each flute is for reducing cutting force.
  4. Replacing with new cutting tools to avoid broken which might be cuased by tool passivation.
  5. To avoid the slip issue caused by holder and collet. If the holder and collet could not firmly hold the cutting tools, the tools would be broken when the machine keeps running and the tools are without spinning.
  6. Pay attention to the chips issue. If the chips stuck, the interruption and temperature increase would cause the cutting tools be twisted to break.
Cutting tools with chip off
  1. To make sure the work peice is firmly fixed. During machining process, the vibration of the work peice will easily cause the tools chip off by hitting with high frequency.
  2. Lowering Feed of each flute is for reducing cutting force.
  3. Selecting the high precision spindle or holder and collet in order to avoid vibration.
  4. To reduce the cutting force and the chips while machining by lowering Feed of each flute.
Chips stuck issue
  1. To lower Feed and chips happened while machining.
  2. Change to use less flutes tools in order to have more space for chips.
  3. Increase the amount of cutting fluid to strongly flush away the chips.
  4. Changing the shape of gash design to be wider or deeper for having more space for chips removal.
  5. Machining by down milling.
High roughness of the surface of drilling hole
  1. To improve the machenical rigidity and holder precision to avoid vibration.
  2. Firmly fix the work material can avoid vibration.
  3. Reduce the Feed speed can help chip removal more smooth by prevent from chips stuck and over friction.
  4. Selecting suitable cutting oil to have better surfance by good lubrication and heat dissipation.
  5. To increase the use amount of cutting oil for better effect of flushing away the chips.
Over wearness of the drills
  1. In order to control the wearness, lowering Feed while machining.
  2. To select the suitable driling tip shape.
  3. Using NC Spot drill for pre-machining.
  4. To select the suitable cutting oil for lubricating and heat dissipation.
  5. To increase the use amount of cutting oil for better effect of flushing away the chips.
  6. Replacing with another drills with better wear resistance.
